A native of Florida's Vero Beach, Emily Taft has a natural affinity for casual elegance.

Whether your look is antique chic or modern sleek, Emily's passion is taking what you love, and integrating it into your home in ways that both captivate and comfort. She layers textures, finishes, hues and shapes into balanced harmony with architectural details and natural light creating an elegance that feels effortless.
Most importantly, Emily understands that a home is meant to be lived in. A place where you can kick off your shoes with family, and kick up your heels with friends. Emily incorporates practical use into her designs by arranging each space for comfort and functionality. The end result is a work of art that really works.
Emily earned her B.S. in Interior Design from Florida State University and studied interiors, architecture, and art history in Italy. Her career began in Atlanta with Hilda Flack Interiors after which she joined the prestigious architectural firm TVS Design, renowned for their previous work on the spectacular Georgia Aquarium and the dramatic Dubai Towers.
Emily Taft Interior Design was launched in 2004 in Winston-Salem, NC before returning to Vero Beach where Emily was born and raised. Over the last decade, Emily has designed projects across the southeast and Texas including in Houston, Washington DC, Raleigh, Winston-Salem, Destin, and Vero Beach.
